Nordcity

Nordcity is an IT technology hub located in northern Slovakia. A new hub aiming to attract talent and tech companies needed a name and identity with a clear sense of place and purpose. GoBIGNAME created the name Nordcity, inspired by the northern location of the Slovak city where the hub sits - a place once known as the centre of tinkering, a craft phenomenon unique in the world. That heritage of hands-on ingenuity shaped a brand identity that connects local roots with a forward-looking tech ambition. We delivered the name, brand identity, custom type design, and website as one coherent system. Nordcity now has a distinctive brand that gives the hub a strong identity to attract companies and talent, rooted in its region but built to compete as a modern technology destination.
