MuzMuz is for Muziker
Rising brand awareness through a new multi-character
Muziker is an e-commerce selling over 7800 brands in 31 countries. Their main focus is selling products related to free time activities. Their problem was a lack of consistent communication and distinctiveness.
During the research phase of the project, we discovered that Muziker looked almost identical to the competition. They were using similar colours and brand assets. As a result, Muziker ended up helping their competition.
To make Muziker truly distinctive within their category, we introduced a brand colour unique to the segment and a multi-character that connects all pieces of communication together.
The results of rebranding after the first product campaign are clear. On YouTube, Ad Recall grew by 10,5% and Brand Awereness by 3,8%. On Facebook, Ad Recall grew by 7% and Brand Awareness by 1,6%.
The creation process of the character started with strategy. The tagline of Muziker is “Millions of Joys”. That inspired us to create a multi-character MuzMuz instead. We drew 7 different versions of MuzMuz.
First, it helps the client to adapt MuzMuz to any media format — present and future. Second, when composing characters next to each other, we create dynamic compositions unique within the segment.
