The ambition behind the merger of Skvelo.sk and Frag.cz was to create a new international brand whose name and identity would not be limited by region or product.
Customer in the centre of attention
The aim was to differentiate the brand from “boring” e-shops with a fresh UX as well as a fun and modern form of communication where the shopping experience and the customer are at the centre of everything. The new name BOXU is based on this experience, providing a visual identity that varies by product category and target group. This makes the new brand ready for segment communication.
The softness and playfulness of the name is also reflected in the brand symbol by its rounded edges. The gradient, custom-made animations and composed music supplies modernity that is evident in the identity.
Name with communication potential
BOXU is not just a name but the basis for the brand copywriting consistent with it. Online videos about BOXU product packages are accompanied by the tailor-made audio logo and buzzes like "Coming from BOXU :)", "BOX it for yourself" or calling out to customers "BOXUUU", keeping the brand's playful tone.
