Dovera
Refreshing the visual identity and logo for Dovera, Slovakia’s largest private health insurance company, began with organising and simplifying the architecture of a wide portfolio of product names.
Configuring Dovera’s naming system
The proposed new nomenclature was aimed at unifying the names of existing products, linking them to the parent’s Dovera brand and simplifying how they are communicated. Services with similar names like Bezpečné Lieky Online and Bezpečné Lieky 112 or generic terms such as Mobile App were gradually turned into names like DoveraSOS, DoveraLieky and DoveraGranty.
Toward a more effective visual ecosystem
The new icon system is based on the cross that appears in the main logo and uses a proportional system of icon combinations with product names. These rules are followed throughout the entire product line, naturally interconnecting with the parent brand to make it more recognisable. In order to preserve continuity, the corporate font and elements of the existing visual identity were used.
High-level visuals in both online and offline spaces
The brand mainly shifts toward becoming simple and compatible with the entire visual system, something that can be easily transferred into practice, as seen in the example of the designs used for the branch network and Dovera’s insurance card.
