A story about connecting the heart and professionalism
The Czech app development company Synetech felt the need to rebrand after 8 years of existence due to their original brand not being well-thought-out. This decision also included a change of the name as Synetech did not quite connote what they actually do. Their professional attitude combined with their passion for what they do was what we immediately saw as their distinctive attribute in the sea of similar brands. That’s what inspired us to come up with the name MeguMethod. Megu is a Japanese word meaning love/heart and Method denotes a certain tech skill in every language. Together, they express the company’s unique attitude in the tech segment with the emphasis on human potential.
A dual principle in every step of communication
The dual principle of the name is applied in all the brand elements as well – the icon, pattern, gradient, and photography style. In the logo, we created a unique stylization of the two M letter symbols. The visuality of the “M” in “Megu” carries a heart fragment as a reflection of the naming story. The soft principle of the linear stylization of the “M” then passes to the “scribbles” that create a pattern principle on the basis of round and sharp lines that are also a continuation of the idea of duality: round lines = megu; sharp lines = method. We also created the copy texts on the homepage of the new website and they, too, in a way include the dual principle of megu and method.
